What we collect

Account details: your name, mobile number, email address, language and password (stored only in a scrambled form we cannot read).

Booking details: the addresses where we work, your cars (make, model, colour, plate, size), the services you book, notes, ratings and messages with us.

Photos and video: before and after photos of your car, inspection and damage photos, and the live video of the service with its recording. We point the camera at the car, not at people, but you or others may appear in it.

Payment details: amounts, payment status and a reference from our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

Location: the address you give us. Our specialists share their own location while driving to you so you can follow their arrival.

Technical data: device and browser type, sign-in records and security logs, used to keep accounts safe.

Why we use it

To take and carry out bookings, send updates, payment links, live links and reports, and to answer your questions.

To check and prove the quality of our work, handle complaints and protect you and our team (photos, video and recordings).

To keep accounts and payments secure and prevent fraud.

To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.

To send offers and news, only if you agreed. You can withdraw that agreement at any time.

Who we share it with

Our specialist assigned to your booking sees your first name, car, address and job notes for that booking only.

Service providers who help us run Wash n Go, under contract and only for that purpose: Thawani Pay (card payments), LiveKit (live video), Cloudflare (secure storage of recordings and backups), our web host, and email, SMS and WhatsApp messaging providers. Some of these providers store data outside Oman. When that happens we use providers with strong security and only share what they need.

Partners you are billed through, such as Rukun, see the bookings and amounts billed to them.

Authorities, if the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Account and booking details: while your account is open, and after that only as long as tax and accounting laws require for invoices and payments.

Live video recordings: up to 30 days after the wash, unless needed for an open complaint, claim or legal reason.

Photos in your service reports: kept with the booking so you can see your car's history, and deleted when your account is deleted, except where we need them for an open complaint or claim.

Security logs: kept for a limited time and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, receive a copy, or have it deleted. You can withdraw any consent you gave, for example to marketing messages, and object to how we use your data.

You can edit most details yourself in your account, and delete your account from the account page. For anything else, contact us and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not happy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, which oversees personal data protection in Oman.

Security

We use encrypted connections (https), scrambled passwords, private storage for recordings with links that expire, and limit access to staff who need it. No system is perfect, and if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

Our service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. If the changes are important, we will ask you to agree again the next time you sign in.
